The Christmas holidays are fast approaching and there are many public holidays that need to be filled. Over the Christmas/New Year break the majority of public holidays take place so all patrols have been rostered on at least once, on top of their normal patrols. Christmas Day is also a voluntary day, we need to patrol all day so if anyone can spare a couple of hours to pop down it is greatly appreciated. Christmas is a day to spend with family so please do not leave it to the same people to do the whole day, any time you can spare is greatly appreciated. Any volunteers for Christmas Day can put their name on the blackboard in the club or email the club or myself.
Patrols are:
Christmas Day 25/12 : Volunteer
Christmas Day Holiday 26/12: Patrol 8 AM; Patrol 3 PM
Boxing Day Holiday 27/12: Patrol 1 AM; Patrol 4 PM
New Years Day 1/1: Patrol 5 AM; Patrol 6 PM
New Years Holiday 2/1: Patrol 8 AM; Patrol 9 PM
Australia Day 26/1: Patrol 2 AM; Patrol 7 PM
This will leave many of our members having to patrol just a few days apart from each patrol but unfortunately this is how the calendar is set. This will require a large commitment which the public as well as SLSQ the club thank you for. On the plus side this does leave fewer public holidays remaining throughout the rest of the year.
If you are unable to attend your patrols please ring around to try to find a replacement, if you are still unable to do so please contact Vice Club Captain Tony Le Roux.
See you on the beach.
